Elisa Samaniego is a partner in the firm’s Business Department, with a primary focus on corporate law, business transactions, estate planning and probate matters. Elisa’s experience includes preparing comprehensive estate planning documents, advising executors and beneficiaries on trust and estate administration, preparing gift and estate tax returns, assisting with trust modification and reformation, and representing clients in probate proceedings. In addition to her experience in probate and estate planning and administration, Elisa advises clients on a wide range of business and corporate matters, including entity formation, trademark registration, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, including contracts, licensing agreements, and corporate governance documents.
A native El Pasoan, Elisa received her B.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of Texas at El Paso. She attended Louisiana State University on a full tuition scholarship and graduated from LSU Law with a J.D. and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. Elisa also studied at Universite Jean Moulin in Lyon, France, and earned a Graduate Diploma in European and International Business Law.
